We call this role “Client Relationship Coordinator,” but outside of our industry, it might be called a “Project Manager” or even “Account Rep.” We would never call it that, because it leaves out the most crucial aspect of the role: relationship-building.

At its core, this job is about much more than scheduling calls and booking attendance at our live events. That’s relatively easy. What our Client Relationship Coordinators do is take care of our clients from start to finish, and they do this by building relationships with clients and being obsessively concerned with getting them the change they want in their lives.  The Client Relationship Coordinator is the voice of our company, and you are the person who guides them through their journey as they discover what they are truly capable of achieving.

Here’s how it works:

The moment a client signs up with us, you take over. You’re their main point of contact, and you lead them through their journey. You’ll get to know them, you’ll understand what they want to achieve on a deep level, and you’ll make sure Michael and the team know what they need from us to make their vision a reality.  You’re their point-person and their friend as they go through the process of learning the material that will make the difference in their lives.

You will also be “project managing” their learning process, juggling lots of these types of tasks every day:

  • Walk clients through the process of participating in our courses, (intro calls, training calls, attendance at live events, our mentorship program, and anything else that comes up).
  • Checking in with clients at various points in the process to tackle any problems and making sure they feel supported.
  • Making sure clients stay engaged between live events (most of this process is automated, you just have to check in often and make sure).
  • Encourage clients to speak up on training calls and through social media
  • Anything else that comes up on a day-to-day basis—questions from clients about upcoming events, different courses available, and any other problems that will come to you to solve.

Basically, you are responsible for the client’s experience.  You don’t deliver the classes or teach the material, but you do everything necessary to make the experience smooth and enjoyable for the client.

Here is the list of skills we believe are necessary for this job. Most importantly, we are hiring based on a careful balance of relevant experience, cultural fit, and motivation:

  • You Have Emotional & Social Intelligence: You must be able to understand and relate with people, feel their motivations, and genuinely care about helping them. Your job in a sense is about building GENUINE relationships with people, and this requires good emotional and social intelligence…especially listening and understanding and connecting (yes, we’re repetitive, because it’s that important).
  • You Love Listening to People & Building Relationships: Like we said, this is the most important thing; not just that you like talking with people, but that you also love active listening. You should be warm, skilled at phone conversation, and have the ability to make people comfortable with you, so they’ll open up. You should have a knack for asking good questions, really getting into the core issues, and truly understanding who someone is and what they want (and of course, enjoy building new relationships with them).
  • You Are Organized And Task Oriented: We have a very detailed process that is user-friendly for you and mostly automated because we want you to spend your time actually talking to our clients–but you’ll need to stay on top of a lot of stuff. You’ll have a hundred to-dos every day, most very small and quickly done, but still a lot of them. It’s not hard as long as you’re organized and task oriented and have a basic understanding of modern technology.
  • You Love Books And Reading And Learning: If you don’t like books and reading and thinking about the ideas in books, this is probably a bad job for you, because you’ll be doing that a lot. Our clients are seeking new information and are going through a process of self-discovery.  If you’re not naturally curious and always on the lookout for a slight edge that will make a difference in your life, then you’re going to have trouble relating to someone going through the process. You don’t need to be their “guru,” but you need to understand their mindset.
  • You Are Self-Motivated And Get Shit Done: We don’t want people who have to be constantly managed. If you only work well with someone telling you what to do–DO NOT APPLY. You must be very self-motivated. There are no lifestyle roles here, and no easy days. We all work very hard every day, because we care about our mission, and what we do matters to us and other people.
    NOTE: Hard work does not mean endless hours. It only means results. If you don’t want to work hard and get results, this is not the right company for you. There is no coasting and no hiding here and you will be held accountable for achieving real results. If that doesn’t excite you, this is the wrong team for you. Our introductory course, Call2Action, teaches people how to get more done in five days than they have in the last five months, and we expect our teammates to get the same type of results for our team.
